Prof Alan Horwich

Professor Alan Horwich was appointed to the Chair of Radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden Hospital/Institute of Cancer Research in 1986. He was the Director of Clinical Research and Development at The Institute of Cancer Research and Royal Marsden NHS Trust from 1994 to 2005. He is a specialist in male cancers and is involved in research into both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. His team is responsible for the non-surgical oncology of testicular, prostate and bladder cancers and lymphomas.

Professor Horwich is Chairman of the Section of Radiotherapy at The Institute of Cancer Research and also Academic Dean of the Institute of Cancer Research.
