Dr Astrid T.Stormorken
Dr Astrid T. Stormorken is at present holding a position as a consultant in Cancer Genetics at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London, UK.
She graduated from Medical School, University of Oslo, Norway in 1987. Dr Stormorken did her training in clinical genetics at The Norwegian Radium Hospital and Ullevaal University Hospital in Oslo, Norway and she became a certified Specialist in Clinical Genetics in 2006.
She received her Ph.D on Hereditary Colorectal Cancer at The University of Bergen, Norway in 2007, the research being done at The Norwegian Radium Hospital. After her PhD she has been taking part in clinical research within the field of cancer genetics.
Dr Stormorken has previously held a position as a consultant in Cancer Genetics at Ullevaal University Hospital. She is a member of the Norwegian working group on Familial Adenomatous Polyposis and of The European Collaborative Group on Hereditary GI-cancer.
