Full time dedicated to interventional oncology at Institut Gustave Roussy since 1991.

Work dedicated to minimal invasive therapy for treatment of liver, lung and kidney tumors. These treatments have been develloped from experimental studies in order to allow a rapid transfer from bench-top to clinical applications including direct percutaneous puncture treatment for the treatment of liver tumors.

My clinical work is dedicated to interventional radiology in cancer, and mostly oriented towards the liver with a very good collaboration with our surgical team. We are optimizing various intra-arterial therapies sinces many years. We have been working since ten years in the field of percutaneous treatment of liver tumors either by direct injection, or more recently physical destruction . Our first RF experience was in 1996. We are also investigated pre-operative portal vein embolization in order to hypertrophy unembolized parts of the liver. We are also involved in minimal invasive treatment of extra-hepatic tumors
